Intro
Its a long time since I blogged. Its just because of this dumb Aedes Mosquito. Warning to everybody: AEDES MOSQUITOES ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS AND ITS BEST YOU PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Well, the reason I did not blog is that I got Dengue. It sucks. I was sick since 22nd October 2006 and its because of that stupid mosquito's fault.
22nd October
Well, it was just a normal morning. My mum, sis and I went to Pasir Ris block 400 plus to take our breakfast. I ate MeeSiam and peanut pancakes. Then we shopped for lunch and went home. Sounds normal right? But little did we know that my mum and I got bitten by Aedes mosquitoes. After lunch, we went to grandma's house since its a long time since we visited her. Then i watched Goong and Naruto on my uncle's new Apple laptop. Man, it is damn nice!! The laptop is those high tech white colour ones and it really look very cool. Then i played some Vitamin Fruit game on their SCV box with my other uncle and my mum. Hahas, we seem immature. It was really cool! Then my mum, uncle, cousin and grandma started gambling cards while my sister and I watched Goong and Naruto. My other younger cousins were messing around with paint. Around evening time, I started feeling feverish. But I didn't care cos I thought that after a Panadol and everything is done. Then we went to take dinner at Bedok interchange. Despite ordering my favourite Kolo Mee, I did not have any appetite. We went home, took some supplements and "proop", I'm dead tired. I slept at like 8pm, which is damn early.

The following week was all in a blur. I could only remember sleeping and watching television. I did not even have the mood to on the comp. I woke up every morning, giddy. Its like going to the toilet to brush teeth, but when I come out, I got knocked out totally. I did not have appetite despite being hungry. Every night, my dad will fetch dinner home. I will take 2 bites and then throw out. My mum did not even touch the food. In the end, our dinner end up im my dad's stomach. I can see that my dad is very tired. He wake up 2.30am in the morning to work and come back at 10.30am to look after us. I doubt he even slept!! I must really thank him for taking care of us. Until Tuseday night, which was Hari Raya Puasa, we went to see the Life-Link Clinic. The doctor said that its unlikely Dengue cos we did not have any rashes. And he thinks its Stomach Flu when we did not even vomit everyday. On Thursday, we went to the Polyclinic to see doctor. Then the doc said our platelet was low. So it might be Dengue. On Saturday night, we were admitted to Changi General Hospital. And so yup, Dengue Fever.
CGH
We stayed in Class C, CGH, Ward 48, Bed 22 and 23. The 2 days there was horrible. The whole day, either the trainee docs or nurses will come to us, extracting blood out of our hands. Lucky I'm not so afraid of injections. Every night, there will be this old lady, shouting in Cantonese saying that she wants to go home and another old lady, screaming like a Pontianak for no reason. 2 nights, when I almost slept, that Pontianak lady suddenly screamed, making me jump out of my bed. I really hate hospitals man. The food was soso lorh. But suprisingly, the day when I was going to be discharged, the noodles was extremely nice. lols. Probably because of my mood. hahas.
Ending
Dengue is horrible. Thats the only sentence I'm gonna say. Oh ya, for SJ's info, I chose Pure, but I kinda regretted it because WQ and Joey they all like choose Combine. Sobs. Yesterday, after choir, I went to Ms Ang's bbq with Joey and Agnes. It was quite fun BBQ-ing. More on the next entry. I don't feel like blogging cuz I'm crazy of Final Fantasy and I'm like playing it everyday.
